Tertre Roteboeuf 2015 displays a medium to deep garnet hue. The initial aroma presents concentrated black fruit elements, including prunes and blackberries, alongside undertones of tapenade and subtle earthy notes. A complex profile unfolds, revealing hints of chargrill, aromatic herbs, and minerality. The palate is full-bodied, characterised by dense fruit layers and well-structured, fine-grained tannins. This vintage exemplifies the meticulous approach of Françoise and Michel Roux, who have been committed to biodynamic practices since the early 1990s, emphasising authenticity in their wine-making. A notable choice for discerning collectors.

The 2015 Le Tertre Roteboeuf is deep garnet-purple in color with a gorgeous nose of baked cherries, warm plums, crème de cassis and mulberries with touches of rare beef, violets, mocha, Chinese five spice and fertile loam. Full-bodied, rich, spicy and with firm, grainy tannins, it has seamless freshness and a very long, spicy finish. This is wonderfully seamless and harmonious. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown

The 2015 Tertre-Rôteboeuf has an exuberant bouquet with peppermint-infused red fruit aromas. This is bold, assertive and maybe missing the nuance of its peers. The palate is very ripe and lavished with toasty new oak that masks some of the terroir expression, rendering it Napa-like in style. This seems like an anachronistic Saint-Émilion in the context of contemporary winemaking in that appellation. It's a little dry on the finish. Tasted blind at the 2015 Bordeaux Ten-Year-On tasting.
