Taylor`s Very Very Old Tawny is a rare and limited-edition Port that has been aged for over a century. The exact age of the wine is not disclosed, but it is known that it has been aged for an extended period of time, resulting in a wine of exceptional complexity, depth and character. The colour is deep amber with mahogany hues, a clear indication of the long maturation in oak casks. On the nose, expect aromas of dried fruits, such as raisins, figs, and dates, as well as toasted nuts, caramel, toffee and spices. On the palate, the wine is rich, smooth, and concentrated, with hints of molasses, tobacco and chocolate. Presented in a beautifully designed decanter and a wooden box, making it a luxurious and collectible item.
