Domaine Takahiko Pinot Noir 2020 is a medium-bodied red wine produced from Pinot Noir grapes on the island of Hokkaido, Japan. Located in a gentle valley just 4km inland from the Sea of Japan, Domaine Takahiko cultivates a modest 4.6ha of Pinot Noir growing on soils of volcanic clay mixed with weathered gravel and sand. The apprentice winemaker at the domaine is Toru Takamatsu MS, Japan`s first Master Sommelier and the youngest person ever to pass the MS Exam at the age of 24. Produced with 100% whole bunches, this is a complex, Burgundian Pinot with notes of strawberry, raspberry and blackberry fruit, violet florals and forest floor.
