From the Heart of Speyside

Strathmill was founded as the Glenisla-Glenlivet distillery on the site of an old corn mill in the late 1800s. It is now one of three distilleries within the town of Keith in Moray – the geographic heart of Speyside single malt.

Oily, aromatic and fruity in style, Strathmill has long been known as a producer of superior malt for use in premium whisky blends, most notable J&B. Strathmill Speyside single malt is remarkably rare: a 12-year-old launched in 2001 as part of Diageo’s Flora and Fauna range is the only official Strathmill release. A 25-year-old Special Release was also introduced in 2014. In addition, a small handful of independent bottlings have been made and are the easiest way for single malt enthusiasts to enjoy this distinguished dram.
