Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Deep, rich gold in colour with amber shadows, this whisky opens on a nose of honeysuckle, melon and ginger, supported by light toffee wrapped in smouldering oak. Fresh maritime notes and a hint of harbour rope add lift and character. The palate is spicy and resonant, with rich cedar wood and subtle herbal undertones. Strong exotic wood fragrances mingle with delicately sweet grapefruit peel, creating both depth and brightness.

The finish is long and powerful, defined by coffee, thick dark treacle, plum wine and fresh oak. Overall, this is an exceptional whisky from a truly rare vintage, matured for its full term in a single first-fill Oloroso sherry butt and bottled at cask strength. A limited edition release of just 398 bottles—originally offered around 2008—it showcases remarkable quality and clarity of character.

The Jewel of Campbeltown

Founded in 1828 by the Reid family, Springbank was acquired by the Mitchell family less than a decade later and has been operated by them ever since. Situated in Campbeltown, on the west coast of Scotland, Springbank actually produce whisky in three distinct styles under three different labels - Springbank, Longrow and Hazelburn. Springbank is produced using the distillery's distinctive '2.5 times' distillation technique, Longrow is a double-distilled whisky made with heavily peated malt and Hazelburn is a smooth, triple distilled single malt.

Official bottlings are, thankfully, still very common and independent bottlings also quite easy to track down. Springbank has long experimented with cask finishes and experimental limited editions. In recent years, a three bottle series of "local barley" editions focussed on whisky produced using only malt from farms close to the distillery.
