Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

A rarely seen Springbank from independent bottler Murray McDavid. Distilled in July 1969 at Springbank distillery, this single malt was bottled at 28 years old from a single fresh Sherry wood cask.

Notes from Serge at WhiskyFun...

"Nose - much more old wood, forest, damp fir cones after a heavy tropical rain (did it occur to you that there are no firs in the tropics, Serge?), eucalyptus, some rancio for sure, horse saddle, menthol, cedar wood, humidor... There`s a wonderful complexity here.

Mouth - the oak may feel a little too much now...having said that, everything that sits behind it is just perfect, from black raisins to cigars and from cocoa powder to crème de menthe. And let`s not forget Seville oranges, and a rather walnutty sherry.

Finish - long, a tad drying because of the oak. Cloves and cinnamon plus more bitter oranges."

The Jewel of Campbeltown

Founded in 1828 by the Reid family, Springbank was acquired by the Mitchell family less than a decade later and has been operated by them ever since. Situated in Campbeltown, on the west coast of Scotland, Springbank actually produce whisky in three distinct styles under three different labels - Springbank, Longrow and Hazelburn. Springbank is produced using the distillery's distinctive '2.5 times' distillation technique, Longrow is a double-distilled whisky made with heavily peated malt and Hazelburn is a smooth, triple distilled single malt.

Official bottlings are, thankfully, still very common and independent bottlings also quite easy to track down. Springbank has long experimented with cask finishes and experimental limited editions. In recent years, a three bottle series of "local barley" editions focussed on whisky produced using only malt from farms close to the distillery.
