Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Sine Qua Non Naked Truth Grenache Magnum 2005 features a composition of 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah, crafted by winemaker Manfred Krankl. Sourced primarily from the Eleven Confessions estate vineyard in California, this wine was aged for 22 months in French oak barrels, resulting in an alcohol content of 15.6%. The magnum format encourages a slower oxygen exchange, preserving the wine`s floral notes and fruit vibrancy. Flavours include kirsch, lavender, and exotic spices, while its texture remains dense and velvety. This vintage is characterised by its concentration and structural depth, marking a pivotal point in the estate`s Grenache-focused production.

(includes 10% syrah; made with all estate fruit and 38% whole clusters; aged for 38 months in barrel) Dark purple color. Powerful scents of blueberry, blackcurrant, cracked pepper and fruitcake, with a suave undertone of violet and smoky minerals. Very spicy in the mouth, displaying concentrated, mineral-driven dark fruit preserve flavors and a velvety texture. The peppery note returns on the finish, which is tightly focused and extremely persistent, featuring an exotic note of blood orange. This superb wine is very primary today and would benefit from decanting or a few more years of cellaring.Josh Raynolds1st November 2009

The wines of Sine Qua Non need little introduction. Mould breaking, iconoclastic, visionary are just some of the descriptors invoked when critics and wine lovers discuss this unique winery. Based in Ventura, north of LA, the wines of Sine Qua Non regularly notch up perfect scores from critics while the waiting list for a direct allocation is well over ten years.

Founded by Manfred and Elaine Krankl in the early 1990s, the duo swiftly gained attention from wine lovers and critics for their superb Rhône blend wines, quirky labels and uncompromising approach in the vineyard and cellar. The winery has experimented with producing Oregon Pinot Noir, dessert wines and an array of quirky single varietal reds and whites, but generally revert to producing the wines for which they are most famous - Grenache and Syrah. The wines are generally big and bold, but those who like things cranked up to eleven should look no further than Manfred's "extended barrel ageing" program.
