The 14-hectare Château Sigalas Rabaud is the smallest among the Sauternes First Growths and is primarily planted with Sémillon grapes. It produces a range of wines, including the traditional sweet white wines associated with the region as well as several dry whites. Sigalas-Rabaud shines at every stage of its maturation. In its youth, displaying subtle golden tones, it releases captivating aromas of exotic fruits like mango and papaya, along with citrus notes like orange. After 15-20 years of ageing, it takes on a golden hue with hints of copper, accompanied by a bouquet that leans towards spice and saffron. While traces of orange persist, they tend to evoke marmalade-like characteristics.
