Château Rauzan-Ségla`s 1996 is a Margaux blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, representing the estate`s commitment to consistency and quality. The wine exhibits a medium to deep garnet hue, revealing aromas of aged leather, dried herbs and subtle cedar nuances. Flavours of dark fruit and spice dominate the palate, balanced by structure and tannins that lend a firm, chewy texture. The finish presents a slight rustic quality, characteristic of the vintage. Known for its historic significance in Bordeaux, Rauzan-Ségla was classified as a Second Growth in the 1855 classification.
