Sauza Tequila c1970s is a historic bottling representative of a pivotal era in Tequila`s development. This period saw Sauza, one of the oldest distilleries, operating largely under family stewardship until 1976. During the 1970s, Tequila regulations allowed for a blend of up to 49% non-agave sugars, resulting in a milder, less agave-forward flavour profile to meet increasing global demand. Typical of this decade, the spirit displays a smooth and mellow character with cooked agave notes, subtle spice and a soft, earthy sweetness.
