Hubert Lamy Saint-Aubin En Remilly 2010 is a Premier Cru Chardonnay from the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy. The 2010 vintage is prized for its purity and high acidity, and this wine has matured into a complex display of citrus, white flowers and crushed rocks. The palate is linear, energetic and precisely focused, featuring a driving acidity that carries a long, textured finish. Now 16 years old, the wine shows a sophisticated blend of richness and smokiness, with notes of lemon, lime and pear.

My last remaining magnum of Lamy`s 2010 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly showed superbly, offering up complex aromas of crisp orchard fruit, citrus oil and green pineapple mingled with nuances of smoky reduction, wet stones and bee pollen. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, with an elegantly textural attack that segues into a deep core of fruit, animated by a bright spine of acidity, this is a brilliant wine from one of the Côte de Beaune`s greatest vignerons. - William Kelley

The 2010 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly, poured by Olivier Lamy himself, sports a waxy, undergrowth-scented bouquet that demanded a couple of minutes to gain requisite delineation and detail (and therefore I would not begrudge decanting this for an hours or so). There is clearly good concentration on the palate and it is certainly well balanced. It possesses the race and nervosité of the finest 2010 whites, the ripeness of the growing season betrayed by the lightly honeyed texture with a dash of white pepper on the finish. Excellent. Tasted on two occasions, at The Glasshouse and at the domaine. Neal Martin1st May 2019
