Domaine Etienne Sauzet is a biodynamic wine producer located in the village of Puligny-Montrachet. Founded in the first half of the 20th century by Etienne Sauzet, the estate is currently managed by Émilie Boudot and Benoît Riffault. This Premier Cru wine is sourced from their plot in ‘Les Perrières’, a vineyard which benefits from a favourable position with good exposure to sunlight. The grapes are lightly pressed and fermented in oak barrels [20% new] before ageing for two winters.

Aromas of citrus oil, white flowers, orange zest, clear honey and delicate hints of praline introduce Sauzet's 2017 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Perrières, a medium to full-bodied, enveloping wine that's racy and tensile, allying concentration, cut and texture to compelling effect. This has turned out brilliantly.William Kelley13th February 2020
Vinous
Bright lemon-yellow color. Delicate, reticent aromas of crushed rock, lemon, lime, white pepper and menthol. Nicely concentrated, sappy wine with lovely intensity and texture--and classic Perrières mineral definition. The vibrant, dusty finish stains the palate.Stephen Tanzer1st September 2018
