Founded in 1984, Olivier Leflaive is a négociant winemaker based in the village of Puligny-Montrachet. They vinify and age the equivalent of 120 hectares of vines – including 17 of their own – the majority of which are white wines. This village Puligny-Montrachet is sourced from the lieu-dit Les Enseignères, where the vineyards boast an average age of 46 years. The wine undergoes a 12-month ageing process in oak barrels, including 20% new oak, followed by an additional 6 months of maturation in stainless steel tanks.
