Founded in 1859 by Jean-Edouard Dupard, Domaine Jean Chartron has been handed down through five generations of the same family. Today, the estate consists of 14 hectares in Puligny-Montrachet and the neighbouring communes, most of the vineyards being classified as premier or grand cru sites. This release comes from ‘Clos de la Pucelle’, a historic 1.16-hectare monopole vineyard owned by the Chartron family. A very expressive white Burgundy, suggesting notes of citrus fruit, white flowers, almonds and hints of chalk.
