Founded in 1984, Olivier Leflaive is a well-known name in Burgundy, representing both a négociant business and a winery. This particular release hails from the Premier Cru ‘Champ Gain’ or ‘regained field’ in English. This refers to the now-valuable vineyard once being an abandoned site after the phylloxera epidemic in the late 19th century. The wine was aged for 16 months, with 25% of new oak.
