Pol Roger Brut Vintage Magnum 2018 is an elegant Champagne from the esteemed house established in 1849. This vintage combines 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, sourced from 20 Grands and Premiers crus vineyards in the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs.

The wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation, enhancing its complexity. In the glass, it presents a crystalline pale yellow hue with a delicate stream of bubbles. The nose is initially subtle, gradually revealing aromas of fresh fruits, including pineapple and white peach, complemented by notes of fresh butter and pastry cream upon aeration. The palate is balanced, showcasing a harmonious blend of fruit and refined acidity, leading to a persistent finish.

Pol Roger`s longstanding relationship with British royalty, holding a Royal Warrant since 1877, underscores the significance of this vintage in its storied legacy.

The 2018 Brut Vintage is absolutely delicious, just as it was last year. Floral and citrus notes give the 2018 lovely aromatic lift to play off its mid-weight personality. This is a classy, polished Vintage Champagne marked by notable brightness. Airy, elegant and silky in feel, the 2018 is an absolute delight. Antonio Galloni8th April 2025
