The wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation, enhancing its complexity. In the glass, it presents a crystalline pale yellow hue with a delicate stream of bubbles. The nose is initially subtle, gradually revealing aromas of fresh fruits, including pineapple and white peach, complemented by notes of fresh butter and pastry cream upon aeration. The palate is balanced, showcasing a harmonious blend of fruit and refined acidity, leading to a persistent finish.
Pol Roger`s longstanding relationship with British royalty, holding a Royal Warrant since 1877, underscores the significance of this vintage in its storied legacy.
