Duty Charges

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill 1999 is a Pinot Noir-dominant Champagne from Epernay. This bottling incorporates fruit from Grand Cru vineyards to provide the muscular structure required for long-term maturation. Pinot Noir is the primary component to ensure weight and longevity while Chardonnay adds a necessary lift to the blend. Disgorgement occurred after more than nine years on lees, resulting in a profile of toasted brioche, roasted nuts and dried stone fruits. The wine maintains a vibrant acidity and creamy mousse despite the warmth of the 1999 growing season. This Champagne displays a saline finish and a dense, textural mid-palate that defines the cuvée.

The 1999 Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill Vinothèque is a powerful, vibrant Champagne that has aged impeccably. Lemon confit, marzipan, dried flowers, mint, spice and chamomile abound. Time in the glass releases gorgeous inner sweetness, while a touch of reduction adds freshness and vibrancy to balance things out. The 1999 has been exceptional in two recent tasting. The first vintage of chef de cave Dominique Petit, the 1999 Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill is an especially rich, generous rendition of this bottling. Revealing aromas of buttered toast, sweet stone fruits, orange confit, iodine and pastry cream, it's full-bodied, fleshy and gourmand, with a broad attack and a layered core of sweet fruit, concluding with a long, saline finish.
