Pol Roger Extra Dry 1988 is a mature Champagne from Épernay, crafted from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Premier and Grand Cru sites. The 1988 vintage, warm and even, produced wines of ripeness and aromatic depth, and Pol Roger’s traditional vinification and extended lees ageing have preserved clarity and finesse over decades. The wine shows notes of baked apple, honeyed brioche and light nutty nuances, while the palate remains vibrant and finely textured, with persistent acidity and a delicate, crystalline mousse.
