The Pol Roger Extra Cuvée de Réserve 1964 is an exemplar of vintage Champagne from a distinguished house founded in 1849, known for its adherence to traditional methods and meticulous quality control. This cuvée is crafted from a blend of approximately 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, sourced from a selection of Grands and Premiers Crus vineyards within the renowned Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs regions. The 1964 vintage resulted in wines recognised for their structure and potential for ageing, displaying mature aromas of toasted brioche and dried fruits. Its fine mousse supports a vibrant, refreshing acidity, leading to a nuanced finish.
