Château Plince 2015 is a red wine from the Pomerol appellation in Bordeaux, France, a property owned by the Moreau family for generations. The blend for this vintage is typically dominated by Merlot (around 72-74%), complemented by Cabernet Franc (around 23-26%) and a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon (around 5%). The wine displays dark fruit notes, underpinned by earthy nuances and firm tannins. Château Plince focuses on sustainable viticultural practices, ensuring the vineyard`s longevity while maintaining the integrity of its unique site.

A blend of 74% Merlot and and 26% Cabernet Franc, the 2015 Plince reveals a medium garnet-purple color and opens with notes of new leather, cigar box and game over a core of red and black currants and sautéed herbs. Medium-bodied, it gives mouth-filling savory flavors with just enough chew and satisfying length. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown

Overripe black cherry, licorice, smoke and green, unripe tannins are the signatures in the 2015 Plince. I would prefer to drink this hearty, burly Pomerol over the next few years, as its balance is precarious and likely to only deteriorate with time.
