Pineau des Charentes Très Vieux Orignac is a fortified wine from the Charentes region of France, produced by blending lightly fermented grape must with Cognac eau-de-vie. This `Très Vieux` expression has been aged for a minimum of 10 years in oak barrels, resulting in a profile of great maturity and depth. It offers notes of dried honey, candied orange, walnuts and a subtle rancio. The palate is sweet and unctuous, yet balanced by a refined acidity. It serves as a classic aperitif or digestif, showcasing the historical craft of the Orignac estate.
