Pierre Péters Cuvée de Réserve is a non-vintage Champagne produced in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, France. This is the flagship wine of Pierre Péters Champagne, produced from a blend of more than 20 years of harvests and composed exclusively of Chardonnay from Grand Cru villages in the Côte des Blancs. Floral and fruity on the nose, with hints of almond and bready notes. Smooth on the palate with lemon, pear and acacia character.

The NV Brut Cuvée de Réserve Grand Cru (base 2022) is powerful and quite rich. Dried lemon peel, crushed flowers, chamomile, mint and dried herbs fill out the layers effortlessly. There's gorgeous fruit density and overall presence. The 2022-base is an especially dense, racy Cuvée de Réserve that can be enjoyed now or cellared for at least a few years. Dosage is 5 grams per liter. Disgorged: August 2025. Antonio Galloni1st May 2026

For an introduction into the range of Pierre Péters, the NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Cuvée de Réserve is the perfect choice. It's based on the incisive 2021 vintage and completed by a 50% component of the perpetual blend, aged in a variety of vessels (stainless steel tanks, large oak casks and concrete). This is the most floral wine in the range, wafting from the glass with aromas of honeysuckle, citrus fruit, acacia and beeswax. Shaped by the high-acid vintage profile, expect a bright, lightly structured Champagne laden with racy acids and a focused finish. It was disgorged in May 2024 with a dosage of six grams per liter.Kristaps Karklins19th December 2024

A Highly Respected Grower

Rodolphe Péters, head of Champagne Pierre Péters, is a fascinating and highly regarded grower who has around seventeen hectares of vineyards in Champagne, mostly in the Grand Crus of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Rodolphe makes bold, expressive wines that utilise a full malolactic, high temperature fermentation to balance the clean, zippy acidity naturally found in the Champagne grapes he farms.

Rodolphe's vintage bottlings now have a cult status among Champagne lovers while his non-vintage 'Cuvée de Réserve' and 'Extra Brut' are as accessible as they are delicious, made with around 30% reserve wines from a decades old solera system.
