Château Pichon Baron 1993 is a mature, Cabernet Sauvignon-based red wine from the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux. Owned by the French insurance company AXA since 1987, Château Pichon Baron is an esteemed `Super Second` producing quintessential Pauillac wines with a winning combination of silky cassis fruit, vanilla pod, cigar box and graphite notes. "Dark fruits, a little soft through the mid palate but still plenty of brambled blackberries, bilberries, undergrowth, soft leather, touches of white pepper, and clear Pauillac tannins. 80% new oak." Jane Anson, 2022
