Château Pibran 1996 is a red wine from the Pauillac appellation in Bordeaux, France. Owned by AXA Millésimes, the estate benefits from the winemaking expertise of Château Pichon Baron. This wine is a Bordeaux-style blend composed of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, sourced from gravelly soils typical of Pauillac. The 1996 vintage is noted for its Cabernet Sauvignon, providing structure and balance, while the half bottle format allows for accelerated maturation. Expect complex notes of dried fruit, cedar and tobacco, with accessible tannins and a nuanced finish.

Vinous
Ruby-red. Pungent aromas of currant, roasted plum, saddle leather and truffle. Sweet and silky in the mouth; shows more vinosity and verve than the '98, as well as more texture. Here the tannins are sweeter and the finishing flavor is riper.
