Domaine Dujac was established in 1967 by Jacques Seysses and his wife Rosalind, with the vision of producing wines of great character and finesse. Over the years, the estate has acquired prime vineyard sites in some of the most esteemed appellations of Burgundy, including Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée and Morey-Saint-Denis. This white Burgundy hails from the lieu-dit ‘Les Monts Luisants’, which lies northeast of the village of Morey-Saint-Denis. The 2015 vintage in Burgundy was marked by favorable weather conditions, allowing for excellent ripening of the grapes. This resulted in wines with rich flavors, good concentration, and balanced acidity.

The 2015 Morey St. Denis Monts Luisants offers considerable energy and acid-driven verve to play off the white orchard fruit, lemon confit, smoke and slate nuances. Today, the Monts Luisants is wonderfully alive, vibrant and focused. - Antonio GalloniStephen Tanzer1st January 2017
Jancis Robinson
The 2015 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Mont Luisants Blanc offers very subtle hints of white chocolate and blanched almonds on the nose that opens with enthusiasm in the glass. The palate is fresh and vibrant with very fine salinity. It is pierced by a keen line of acidity that keeps the mouth tingling long after the wine has departed. I appreciate the tension and race here and it should age with style over several years.Neal Martin30th December 2016

A Focus on Terroir

Founded in the late 1960s by Jacques Seysses, who purchased and renovated Domaine Graillet in Morey-St-Denis. The estate is currently run by Jacques' sons Jeremy and Alec, who farm around 17 hectares of vines across the Côte including holdings in Echezeaux, Clos de la Roche, Charmes-Chambertin and Bonnes Mares.

A natural approach is taken in the vineyard and cellar with the estate moving from organic farming to fully biodynamic in the mid 2000s, receiving their certification in 2011. The team's focus is on elegance - temperatures are controlled to keep alcohol in check and also limit malolactic fermentation while juice from the crush is fed into the cellar by gravity only without the use of pumping. The wines of Domaine Dujac represent pure, balanced expressions of their respective terroirs.
