Based in Meursault, Domaine Coche-Dury is a highly regarded producer for its production of white Burgundy. The estate, which is currently led by Raphaël Coche-Dury, consists of approximately nine hectares, predominantly in and around their winery. This particular release comes from Perrières, a premier cru vineyard situated at the southern end of Meursault – considered by many to be the best of the region. Burgundy 2010 was a particularly good vintage, marked by a limpidity and purity of flavours that make this a classic year.

Vinous
Pale lemon-yellow. Nose dominated by crushed rock. Like a liqueur of sappy citrus fruits and minerals in the mouth, with electric energy that's almost painful today. Dense, thick, sweet and fine-grained, with a hint of toast adding another element toward the back. Explosive finishing minerality leaves the palate vibrating on the endless aftertaste. Incredible juice, and likely to be very long-lived.Stephen Tanzer1st September 2012
