Bernard-Bonin Meursault Les Genevrières 2017 is a medium-bodied white wine from the Premier Cru climat of Les Genevrières in the Meursault appellation of the Côte de Beaune. Working with 7ha of biodynamically farmed vineyards spread across Meursault and Puligny Montrachet, Domaine Bernard-Bonin was formed through the union of Veronique Bonin, grand-daughter of Bernard Michelot, and her husband Nicolas Bernard. The wines they produce are among the most sought-after in the Côte de Beaune. On the 2017 Les Genevrières. "This was my first visit to one of the Côte de Beaune`s most talked-about addresses, and it was a pleasure tasting with Véronique Bonin and Nicolas Bernard. Beginning with six hectares, inherited by Véronique from the Michelot family of which she is a scion, it has today grown to fully nine hectares, augmented by further cessions from the same source. Practicing organic from the beginning, with Demeter certification due for 2021, treatments are biodynamic." William Kelley, 2021
