Domaine Coche-Dury Meursault Genevrières 2020 is a full-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Premier Cru climat of Genevrières in the Meursault commune of the Côte de Beaune. Based in Meursault, Domaine Jean-François Coche-Dury is one of the most sought-after names in Burgundy. The estate consists of approximately 10.5 hectares of vineyard area, predominantly in and around the winery in Meursault. This release comes from Les Genevrières, one of Meursault`s better-known Premier Cru vineyards. Despite the hot, dry conditions, 2020 Burgundy is characterised by joyously fresh, vibrant, classically styled wines, with consistent quality in the whites, according to Burgundy expert Sarah Marsh MW.

The 2020 Meursault Les Genevrières 1er Cru has a beguiling bouquet with white flowers, grilled almonds and touches of quince and yellow plum. The palate is lightly spiced on the entry with a silver bead of acidity, very focused towards the second half with touches of stem ginger and lemongrass. Quite noble, this may be one of Coche-Dury's longest-lasting 2020s.
