Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Armand Rousseau unquestionably sits amongst the greats of Burgundy with a portfolio of wines from some of the most revered vineyards in the region. This is a muscular Grand Cru with wonderful energy and ripeness of fruit. Drink 2024-2040.
Vinous
The 2013 Mazy-Chambertin shows slight elements of reduction, but the signatures of this site come through nicely just the same. Sweet red cherries, red currant, hard candy, flowers and mint are laced together in a soft, lighter Burgundy that should drink well with minimal cellaring as long as the reductive elements don't make it into bottle.Antonio Galloni1st April 2015
