Mas de Daumas Gassac 1983 is a mature red blend from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. This vintage blends 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and smaller percentages of Syrah and other rare varieties, predominantly sourced from the estate’s red clay soil, akin to Burgundy`s Côte d`Or. The wine underwent approximately 18 months of oak maturation. The 1983 vintage presents aromas of dark fruit and herbal nuances, with a palate that reflects its age through a balanced structure and subtle complexity.
