Martin Woods Temperance Hill Pinot Noir 2021 is an Oregon wine from the Eola-Amity Hills American Viticultural Area. The vineyard, known for its high elevation and influence from the cooling winds of the Van Duzer Corridor, is organically farmed. This wine is sourced from mature blocks of Pinot Noir planted in weathered volcanic basalt, specifically the Pumphouse and Upper Bench sections. The expression includes elements of red and dark red fruits, alongside ground spice and mineral nuances. The palate presents a noticeable tension, exhibiting a fine-grained structure and lively acidity, indicating potential for cellaring.
