Lynch Moussas 2015 is a blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon and 42% Merlot, reflecting the characteristics of its Pauillac terroir. On the nose, the wine presents notes of blackcurrant and subtle oak. The palate is medium-bodied, showcasing a firm structure with well-integrated tannins. Its acidity offers balance, while the finish reveals hints of herbal nuances, providing complexity. Château Lynch Moussas has been in the hands of the Castéja family since 1990, renowned for their meticulous approach to viticulture and winemaking.
Vinous
The 2015 Lynch Moussas has quite a powerful bouquet of burly blackberry and raspberry laced with brown spices and leather, almost Rioja-like in style. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy, rather dry tannin. I have doubts about how representative this bottle is. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting.
