An emblematic offering from Rémy Martin, this rare Grande Champagne Cognac was bottled in the early 1960s, a period marking crucial developments for the house. Featuring a blend of eaux-de-vie predominantly sourced from the premier cru, this expression incorporates stocks distilled as far back as the 19th century, enhancing its complexity with depth akin to pre-phylloxera characteristics. The decanter, designed by Baccarat or Saint-Louis, draws inspiration from a 16th-century metal flask unearthed at the Battle of Jarnac site. Aromas include deep rancio, jasmine, and aged tobacco, exemplifying the house`s rich blending tradition upheld by generations of Cellar Masters.

Along with the core range, which is offered in selection of formats - from miniature to 6-litre - Louis XIII have released a number of limited editions over the last two decades, including the Rare Cask and Black Pearl bottlings - two of the most coveted and rarified Cognacs of the modern era.
