Littorai The Tributary Vineyard Chardonnay 2010 is a single-vineyard white wine from the Sonoma Coast AVA, crafted by Littorai Wines, known for their adherence to biodynamic practices and a hands-off approach to winemaking. The 2010 growing season presented challenges with cool temperatures and variable weather, influencing the fruit`s development. This Chardonnay is fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for approximately 12 months in French oak, approximately 20% of which is new. At 15 years old, it displays layers of dried stone fruit, lemon curd and subtle minerality, with an elegant acidity that invites further exploration.

Littorai's 2010 Chardonnay The Tributary Estate Vineyard is totally beguiling. An eccentric, quirky wine, the Tributary emerges from the glass with lime, petrol, chalk, white flowers and crushed rocks. Initially quite Riesling-like in its expression, the 2010 gains volume and richness in the glass as the aromas and flavors move towards a slightly more exotic passion fruit-inflected end of the spectrum. This complex, nuanced wine is flat-out stunning.
