Ganevat Les Survivants 2017 is a medium-bodied white wine produced from Chardonnay grapes in the Jura region of France. Jean-Francois Ganevat is one of the most celebrated producers of the Jura region and is a leading light in biodynamic viticulture and natural winemaking. Having trained in Beaune and worked at Domaine Jean-Marc Morey for almost a decade, in 1998 he returned to take the helm at his family estate, the 14th generation of his family to do so. Les Survivants is a 100% Chardonnay produced from estate-grown fruit. Produced in a ouillé, or topped-up, style, the wine is vinified without sulphur additions and matured for three years in uses demi-muid (500l) barrels before bottling.
