Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Château Léoville Las Cases 2015 presents a blend composed of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and 11% Cabernet Franc. The wine exhibits a deep garnet hue and reveals aromas of blackcurrant, plum and subtle herbal notes, accompanied by nuances of graphite and tobacco. On the palate, it showcases a medium to full body with structured tannins and a defined acidity. Flavours of dark fruits integrate with earthy undertones and a lingering finish. Founded in 1638, Château Léoville Las Cases is one of the most revered estates in Saint-Julien, known for its consistent production of age-worthy wines.

The 2015 Léoville Las-Cases has an intense bouquet with blackberry, cedar, tobacco, mint and juniper aromas developing in the glass. This is utterly compelling. The palate is very well balanced with more weight and density than the Poyferré. It's spicier with hints of black pepper and cumin toward the persistent finish. We are here in signature Las Cases territory - a slow burn, a seemingly delicate lace-like tannic structure that is so St Julien, and then builds up to a powerful Pauillac-like squeeze of tannins halfway through the palate. This is an impressively constructed wine, with liquorice, cassis, bilberry and rose bud. Not the most muscular Las Cases (and certainly a long way from the brilliance of the 2016) but joyful, and standing on the edge of its drinking window, which is rare in the world of this powerful 2nd Growth, and makes it one to look out for. 50% new oak for ageing.Jane Anson19th February 2025

Richer and more demonstrative than the 2016, the 2015 Léoville Las Cases dodders up generous aromas of sweet berries, pencil shavings and loamy soil, framed by a deft application of creamy new oak. Medium to full-bodied, broad and expansive, with a fleshy core of fruit, succulent acids and a giving, gourmand profile, like many 2015s from the Northern Médoc, it`s already quite structurally open today, and it will likely attain its peak before both the 2014 and 2016 vintages that bookend it. For many consumers, that may be an advantage. - William Kelley

A First Class Second Growth

The illustrious 2ème Cru Classé property, Château Léoville Las Cases, has cemented its reputation as one of the most consistent producers of exceptional quality wines in the Saint Julien appellation in Bordeaux. Spanning 98ha, the estate produces its celebrated first wine - a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend - in addition to a second wine from young vines, Le Petit Lion. These stellar reds are renowned for their structure and longevity and are produced from the beating heart of the estate, on deep, well-draining gravel soils.

Two further wines are made from a separate site, situated further back from the river with more sandy-gravels: Clos de Marquis and Petite Marquise. The key varietals that make up these powerful red wines are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
