Laurent Perrier Grand Siècle 1990 is a mature vintage Champagne produced by Laurent Perrier in Reims, France. Introduced in 1959, Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle was the first multi-vintage prestige cuvée to be released by a Grande Marque. Grand Siècle’s assemblage is based on three exceptional years selected from among the Laurent-Perrier vintages. The blend is typically Chardonnay-dominant and aged for a minimum of 10 years on the lees. The cuvée is named after one of the most influential periods in French history – the Great Century – when Louis XIV was known as the ‘Sun King’. "Mature, with a touch of scrambled egg and burnt sulphur on the dry bouquet. This one runs lean and crisp, with green apple and a hint of lemon on the palate. That said, there’s still laudable depth of flavour and complexity. Overall the impression is largely of citrus." Wine Enthusiast, 2005

Elegant Blanc and Rosé
The Laurent-Perrier portfolio is built around three distinct expressions of its unique savoir-faire. The first is the art of assemblage of reserve wines, exemplified by Grand Siècle - a prestige cuvée crafted from three exceptional years to recreate the perfect year. The second is the mastery of maceration, an innovative winemaking technique that led to the creation of Cuvée Rosé in 1968. Finally, the House pioneered the non-dosage (zero dosage) style with the launch of Ultra Brut in 1981, a visionary approach that continues today with Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature.
