Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Château Latour 2001 is a Left Bank Bordeaux blend from the Pauillac appellation, crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. This vintage reflects a classic Pauillac profile with aromas of blackcurrant, cedar and subtle earthy notes. The wine`s structure is defined by firm yet integrated tannins, indicative of the vintage`s character. One of the oldest classified growths, Château Latour has been a hallmark of excellence since the 17th century, with a vineyard that comprises 78 hectares on gravelly soils. This specific magnum format allows for slower maturation, allowing for extended cellaring potential.

Dark ruby-red. Sappy, expressive aromas of cherry, plum, minerals, woodsmoke and game, plus an exotic suggestion of baked apple. Rather subtle on the attack, then quickly expands to fill the mouth. A big, deep, very rich vintage for Lafite, unusually generous at this early stage and extremely long on the aftertaste. But went into a shell with aeration, and showed a hint of tobacco leaf vegetility. Finishing notes of coconut, woodsmoke and tobacco add flavor interest.Stephen Tanzer1st May 1998

An Iconic First Growth

A highly-coveted First Growth from Pauillac, the estate boasts a fascinating history that can be traced back as far as 1234. Spanning 110 hectares, Château Lafite Rothschild produces a legendary first wine, Lafite Rothschild, showcasing beautiful aromatics and an extraordinary capacity to age; a superb second wine, Carruades de Lafite, and Légende de Pauillac.

Located at the northerly boundary of Pauillac, adjacent to Saint-Estèphe, the Château vineyards are broadly split into two parcels - one which supplies the bulk of the grapes for the Grand Vin and a second parcel that is used to produce Carruades de Lafite. Vineyard plantings are around 70% Cabernet Sauvignon 25% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.
