Duty Charges

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Created in collaboration with actor and Friend of Laphroaig Willem Dafoe, this limited edition Islay single malt presents a distinctive interpretation of Laphroaig’s unmistakable character. Bottled at 53.7% ABV and non chill filtered, it balances the distillery’s signature maritime peat smoke with an unexpectedly elegant aromatic profile. Delicate floral notes of sweet pea and jasmine rise alongside burnt caramel, earthy menthol and hints of seaweed, evoking windswept beaches and smouldering driftwood fires on the Islay coast.

The palate is rich and deeply textured, opening with muscovado sugar and salted caramel before developing into roasted coffee grounds and warming spice. Layers of smoke weave steadily through the whisky without overpowering its sweeter, more savoury elements, creating remarkable depth and complexity. The finish is long, mouthwatering and persistent, with lingering peat smoke and dark caramel notes encouraging another sip.

One of Scotland's most famous distilleries, Laphroaig was founded on Islay in 1815 by Alexander and Donald Johnston. The distillery operates three wash stills and four spirit stills and produces around three and a half million litres of whisky a year. Water is drawn locally from the Kilbride Dam.

Laphroaig is famous for the intense peatiness of the spirit - smokiness, medicinal notes abound in the younger bottlings while more mature whiskies see a mellowing of this flavour. The team favour more active ex-Bourbon casks for ageing, bottling at 10 years as standard with limited edition 15, 18, 25 and 30 years olds also featuring occasionally. Cask strength editions and Sherry barrel finish editions have been well received by fans of the distillery.
