Château Langoa-Barton is a 3ème Grand Cru Classé estate situated in Saint-Julien and is well-known for producing incredibly traditional and formidably tannic wines. The château has been in the Barton family for eight generations, a sister estate to the famous Léoville Barton.

The 20 hectares of vineyard are planted on classic gravel / clay soils and plantings are split between Cabernet Sauvignon (71%), Merlot (21%) and Cabernet Franc (8%). The wine is aged for around 18 months in 50% new oak using example the same techniques employed at Leoville Barton.
