Laherte Frères Les Beaudiers Rosé de Saignée NV is a non-vintage Champagne produced from the Pinot Meunier grape, sourced from meticulously tended vines over 40 years old. The wine showcases a complex aromatic profile, revealing notes of cherry, wild herbs and subtle earthiness. With a low dosage of 3g per litre, it presents a dry, structured palate. Disgorged in November 2023, this cuvée exemplifies the estate’s commitment to minimal intervention and terroir-driven production.

The NV (2018) Extra Brut Rosé de Saignée Les Beaudiers is a very nutty, slightly oxidative wine with fine balance and tons of spicy/earthy Meunier character. The Beaudiers emerges from vines planted in 1953, 1958 and 1965. Inquisitive tasters will best enjoy its quirky personality. Zero dosage. Disgorged: December 19, 2022. Entirely from the 2020 vintage, the NV Extra-Brut Rosé de Saignée Les Beaudiers (2020 base) was disgorged in December 2023 with a dosage of two grams per liter. Originating from a flat, east-facing site in Chavot-Courcourt, this cuvée is produced from Pinot Meunier macerated for 16 hours. It bursts from the glass with aromas of sweet cherry, spices, strawberry jam and raspberries. Darker and more extracted than the Rosé de Meunier, it is full-bodied, broad-shouldered and vinous—rich and enveloping, with a generous core of fruit and ripe yet vibrant acidity. Powerful and gastronomic in nature, this is a rosé Champagne built for the table rather than the aperitif. - Kristaps Karklins
