L`Exuberance Rosé du Clos Cantenac 2024 presents a delicate pale hue, exhibiting subtle aromas of red fruits combined with zesty citrus notes. The palate reveals an integration of redcurrant and cranberry flavours, offering a refreshing acidity with a hint of lemon zest. This wine maintains a balance of lightness and structure, making it versatile for both apéritifs and food pairings.
17.5 Jancis Robinson
Full bottle 1,378 g. 100% Merlot. Is this the most silvery rosé on the planet? It seems to shine as your pour it, almost mercurial in its liquid-silver slip in the glass. Just like the 2023, it`s a little liquid illusionist, starting bone dry and lean and shaped to sea-shell minerality/frugality. Nacreous acidity feeling almost fragile. But then it begins to shift, almost imperceptibly at first. Tomato leaf and lemongrass. Turning tentatively to something a little more golden, a little more succulent. Almond. Grapefruit peel. Apricot stone. Apricot. Smoky sour cherry. Juiciness trickling in through the cracks until by the finish it`s a flood. By the finish, it`s bold and punchy and long. This must surely be one of Bordeaux`s best rosés. (TC)
