Killyloch 1967 is a rare Lowland single malt whisky from the now-defunct Glen Flagler distillery in Airdrie, operational briefly from 1965 to the mid-1970s. As the peated variant of the distillery`s offerings, this expression is marked by a unique character distinct from typical peaty whiskies. Bottled at 36 Years Old by Inver House, it exhibits a delicate balance of soft citrus and floral aromas, complemented by a gentle peaty influence that has matured with age. The oak casks have contributed layers of complexity, capturing a moment in whisky history, especially as Glen Flagler faced closure and demolition in 1985. Each bottle stands as a testament to a bygone Lowland style.
