Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Keller Riesling Westhofen Brunnenhaus 2010 is a dry German Riesling from the Rheinhessen region. Sourced from the single-vineyard Brunnenhaus site, this wine reflects the area’s limestone-rich soils. The bouquet presents aromas of citrus peel, green apple and herbaceous notes, while the palate showcases flavours of ripe pear and hints of wet stone. The acidity provides a refreshing backbone, driving a linear profile with a precise finish.

As Keller himself remarks, his 2010 Westhofener Brunnenhauschen - Abtserde Riesling Grosses Gewachs illustrates the proclivity of Riesling from this amazing site (for more about which, consult Issues 192 and 185) to combine creaminess of texture with utmost energy and levity. Almond and white peach, lime and grapefruit are wreathed in iris, mint, and thyme. As this expansively saturates the palate and as it takes on air, suggestions of cardamom and nutmeg, nut oils and rowan add rich allure. Seductively scented and textured, irresistibly juicy and mouthwateringly saline, this buoyant beauty finishes transparent to a kaleidoscopic, kinetic array of floral, herbal, spice and mineral nuances. I expect it will remain compellingly exhilarating for at least a decade. (Due to the paucity of the 2010 crop, Keller essayed no separate bottling from this site’s young vines as there had been from 2009.)

Some critics feel that the Abtserde is the Number One of Keller`s Grosse Gewächse, and if elegance were the only yardstick, I might agree. To me there has always been a pronounced green element, the true character of which I have never been able to pin down to my satisfaction. For 2010 I opt for a walk through woodlands, a combination of the gentle fragrance of pine needles and fresh forest earth. Fennel, cumin and caraway add a distinctive herbal expression, and though fruity and minerally notes cannot be denied, they are just tasteful ornaments to the bigger picture. (MS)
