Jameson 33 Year Old Averys 1950 is a single pot still Irish whiskey from the Bow Street distillery in Dublin. Distilled in February 1950 and matured in two butts, it was bottled in the autumn of 1983 for the Bristol wine merchant Averys. This bottling represents some of the final stocks of Jameson produced in Dublin before the distillery closed. It features a sophisticated nose of old parchment, dried apricot and polished mahogany. The palate is velvety and deep, showing notes of tropical fruit, sandalwood and a soft, nutty rancio that reflects over three decades of wood maturation.
