The Hundred Acre Kayli Morgan 2010 is a Cabernet Sauvignon originating from Napa Valley, crafted by the innovative winemaker Jayson Woodbridge. This vintage is sourced from the esteemed Kayli Morgan Vineyard, situated at the base of Howell Mountain. The vineyard`s 15 acres feature a complex soil profile, including ancient clay, volcanic glass and gravel pebbles, which influence the wine`s nuanced expression. Hundred Acre is known for producing limited quantities and focuses on meticulous vineyard management, reflecting Woodbridge`s commitment to conveying the terroir in each bottle.

Vinous
(15.5% alcohol): Bright ruby-red. Multidimensional nose combines black raspberry, blackberry, menthol, licorice, lavender and mint, complicated by truffle and sexy oak notes and a whiff of citrus fruit. Tactile, densely packed and savory, communicating a powerful mineral salinity, like wet earth after a rain, but also compelling sweetness. Penetrating and sharply delineated but still extremely backward. Finishes firmly tannic, fresh and long, with a whiplash of flavor and terrific lift. Remarkable wine in the making--and likely to be long-lived.Stephen Tanzer1st June 2016
