Hundred Acre Few and Far Between 2013 is a full-bodied, single-vineyard red wine produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in the Howell Mountain AVA of California. Founded by former investment banker Jayson Woodbridge, Hundred Acre is one of the most exciting projects to have emerged in Napa in the past 20 years, focusing on crafting single-vineyard wines with an emphasis on quality (Jayson`s Wraith was the first ever to receive 100 points for the first three consecutive vintages). Planted on rocky alluvial soils, the Few and Far Between vineyard is located in a shallow valley in Calistoga neighbouring the historic Eisele Vineyard. "The medium to deep garnet-purple coloured 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Few and Far Between comes charging out of the gate with intense notes of crushed red and black currants, black cherries and mulberries over a crème de cassis and mincemeat core plus suggestions of baking spices and fragrant earth. Full-bodied, bold and oh-so-decadent, the palate features a very firm, velvety frame with layer up layer of spiced black berries and a compelling earthy undercurrent, finishing with fantastic length and perfume." 100 points, Lisa Perotti-Brown, 2018
