Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Henscke Mount Edelstone Shiraz is produced from vines that are now 103 years old and is a muscular, full-bodied expression of Eden Valley. It is deep and dark with scents of cassis, plum, potpourri, black olive and camphor. On the palate it is amply-endowed with ripe but chewy tannins, oodles of black fruit and a long, silken finish.

Opaque ruby. Dark berry preserves, fruitcake, pipe tobacco candied flowers and a hint of vanilla on the deeply perfumed nose. Stains the palate with sappy black and blue fruit, mocha, licorice and rose pastille flavors and exotic spice and mineral nuances add energetic lift. Fleshy and deep but lively as well, with an impressively long, gently tannic finish that shows superb focus and dark fruit-driven persistence.Josh Raynolds1st December 2021

17 Jancis Robinson

All-Shiraz vineyard planted in 1912(!) by Ronald Angas of South Australia`s founding family. Cyril Henschke produced the first varietal single-vineyard wine from these vines, so labelled, in 1952.

Decanting recommended and in this case I can see why. It`s still much more youthful than the other two Henschke 2015s I have tasted so far
–
Euphonium and Cyril Henschke. The tight, introvert aromas of balsam and dried grasses are just starting to come out. There`s a definite touch of mint there too. This is drier and less flattering than the other two at the moment, with a minerally undertow. Strongly savoury finish and beautifully made but not nearly ready. I may come back and revise this note once the wine has sat in a decanter for a while but I`d advise stashing it in a cellar for now. And, gosh, it needs food! But it certainly mellowed in the glass and overnight. Lovely after 24 hours. (JR)

One of Australia's Greatest Wineries

The Henschke name is synonymous with fine winemaking in Australia, the family are part of the "First Families" - ten of the countries oldest and most respected family-owned, multi-generation wineries. Other names on the roster include d'Arenberg, Yalumba, Tyrrells and Tahbilk. Henschke is currently managed by Prue and Stephen Carl Henschke. Stephen is the youngest son of the famous Cyril Henschke, who elevated the winery to become one of Australia's most highly regarded.

The winery produce a number of fine Cabernet Sauvignon, dry Rieslings and Semillon, but their flagship wine is undoubtedly Hill of Grace single vineyard Shiraz - intense, concentrated and age-worthy - Hill of Grace is considered by many to be Australia's greatest red wine.
