Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Henschke Hill of Grace 1992 is a single-vineyard Shiraz from Eden Valley in the Barossa region of South Australia. Henschke is synonymous with fine winemaking in Australia. The family is one of the `First Families` - 10 of the country`s oldest and most respected family-owned, multi-generation wineries. The Hill of Grace single-vineyard Shiraz is the family`s flagship wine. Intense, concentrated and age-worthy, it is considered by many to be Australia`s greatest red wine. "Excellent vintage. A spicy and fragrant nose, perhaps the cooler January at work here, plenty of sage also in the mix, very concentrated and slightly more discreet than the 1991 and 1990. The palate has impressive concentration and cut, really bright and crisp with decent tannin ripeness and a juicy, sturdy and assertive drive through the finish. The 1992 Shiraz is the product of a long, dry and cool summer in Eden Valley, which has crafted an elegant and reserved Hill of Grace style. It opens with an array of fleshy fruit pastilles and blackberry aromas before meat stock and wintergreens emerge. The wine has a real freshness and brightness, with a firm acidic line. Vigorous tannins provide ample structure that is just beginning to overshadow the fruit. Best to enjoy over the next couple of years, although it will cellar for considerably longer.Vinous1st April 2023

Still hint of purple. Very, very sweet on the nose and fruity rather than minerals or veg. A charmer though not one with great depths. Good structure underneath. This wine has a lot packed in there for future development actually. The palate is much more interesting than the nose suggests, and there is still some tannin to be resolved. (JR)

The Henschke name is synonymous with fine winemaking in Australia, the family are part of the "First Families" - ten of the countries oldest and most respected family-owned, multi-generation wineries. Other names on the roster include d'Arenberg, Yalumba, Tyrrells and Tahbilk. Henschke is currently managed by Prue and Stephen Carl Henschke. Stephen is the youngest son of the famous Cyril Henschke, who elevated the winery to become one of Australia's most highly regarded.

The winery produce a number of fine Cabernet Sauvignon, dry Rieslings and Semillon, but their flagship wine is undoubtedly Hill of Grace single vineyard Shiraz - intense, concentrated and age-worthy - Hill of Grace is considered by many to be Australia's greatest red wine.
