Hakushu Essence of Suntory Rye (Bottled 2018) 2012 is a limited-release Japanese whisky that embodies a rye type character. Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2018, it presents a robust 57% ABV. The whisky matured in heavily charred American oak casks, which impart distinct flavours and aromas. This release is part of Suntory’s Essence of Suntory series, crafted at the Hakushu Distillery, nestled in the Japanese Alps, renowned for its pure spring water sourced from the mountains.
